Najib Boubekri

I understand how crucial it is to really be heard and understood. That’s why I specialise in careful, empathic listening to help you gain a genuine understanding of your experiences. 

My approach is all about you—tailoring treatment to meet your unique needs using an evidence based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Here, you’ll find a safe, private, and confidential setting where you can comfortably share even the most deeply personal matters. 

As a BABCP Accredited CBT therapist and a Society of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy accredited DBT therapist and supervisor, I bring proven expertise to our sessions.

I specialise in border line personality disorder (BPD) and ADHD. Additionally, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and am currently completing my EMDR accreditation. This diversity in approaches ensures that whatever your needs, we can find the right fit together. 

With 20 years of experience in the NHS and private practice as a mental practitioner I’ve had the opportunity to serve in various roles, including; forensic services, acute psychiatric wards, crisis teams, A&E mental health liaison, and as a psychotherapist within secondary care psychological therapies services at the NHS.

I am deeply committed to understanding and supporting each person’s unique mental health journey. With a solid foundation in Occupational Therapy and over 17 years of experience in both NHS and private practice, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every session.

My approach is grounded in compassion and tailored care, ensuring that your needs are met with the utmost respect and attention.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients across various settings, including Adult Mental Health, CAMHS, Early Intervention Teams, Later Life Services, and Substance Misuse. 

My experience spans multiple areas of therapy, including family therapy, mindfulness, vocational rehabilitation, and trauma-informed care. I’ve pursued specialised training to enhance my skills in these areas, allowing me to offer comprehensive and effective support.

In addition to my work within the NHS, I’ve established private mindfulness groups within local communities, including local PANDAS support groups for women who have experienced traumatic births. I’ve also partnered with large businesses, creating tailored programs to enhance staff well-being and resilience.

Currently, I manage a Mental Health Liaison Team in an Emergency Department, where I excel in assessing patients, providing therapeutic interventions, and guiding individuals toward improved mental health. 

My compassionate approach and strong clinical skills have earned me the trust of both patients and colleagues alike.
